Translations

We specialize in the translation of academic texts from Italian or French to English (both American and UK). Translators all hold doctorates and engage in their own scholarly work and thus are familiar with academic discourse and the expectations of venues such as top-rated journals and publishing houses.

Proofreading and Editing

We understand the need to check manuscripts for idiomatic correctness and fluency, as well as word choice, grammar, and natural flow before submitting for peer review, presentation, or publication. In the competitive academic world it is essential that your work be clearly written and easily understandable. Academics for Academics is here to help you.

Every Text is Different

Every text is different and each presents its own particular challenges. Accordingly, the work involved in a translation or editing project can vary substantially, and this is why we offer a quote for each job on a individual basis. We always provide clients a written estimate of the price of a project, broken down into units (price per word, line, or hourly rate).

TRANSLATIONS

We offer competitive prices while maintaining the highest quality.  For lengthier documents and long term contracts, prices are discounted.

 EDITING

Rather than by word or page, we charge by the hour for proofreading and editing. The reason being that the time needed for such work can vary greatly, depending on the type of project, level of English, etc. We are happy to provide you with a free quote!

Free Quote

Please state your required delivery date, length of text in words, and the language combination if applicable. I will respond as soon as possible with a customized quote for translation, editing or proofreading.
